If you happen to find the concept of spirituality fascinating and have dabbled in it from time to time, then you will find 5th dimension spirituality even more fascinating. Spirituality is in fact, a very broad term due to its broad definition as it revolves around the idea that there is some kind of higher power at play and our universal system is not random. A belief that all things are universally connected.
In essence, it’s practiced and believed by those who believe that what we are seeing and feeling with our brains and bodies is only a fraction of who we are, that we are infinite beings, spiritual entities that are present in this world in ways that we don’t fully understand. This definition does indeed leave a lot of room for interpretation and the interpretation does depend varyingly on the individual who is practicing or believing in whichever of the many different kinds of spirituality that have now come to be.
There are many who directly correlate spirituality with religion as many of the concepts in both the areas coincide with each other so religion and spirituality are at many times taken as synonymous. But many others practice spirituality without any element of religion directly related to the practices they make a part of their spiritual journey and spiritual strengthening. Meditation is one such example of practicing spirituality that does not have to necessarily incorporate any religious aspect with it.
Spirituality being the broad field that it is, has also been linked with fifth-dimensional space. What does that mean? Is there really such a thing as fifth dimension spirituality?
What Is The Fifth Dimension?
Before we answer the burning question of what spirituality has to do with the fifth dimension, let’s first address what exactly the fifth dimension is, for those who don’t have a lot of knowledge on the subject. If you’ve studied physics in high school, you’d have a good idea about the dimensions that encapsulate the fabric of space and time as we know it, so to speak.
The first four dimensions are very well known and easy to understand as well, even if you haven’t studied physics. But let’s do a quick rundown of what they are. The first dimension is height, the second dimension is width, the third dimension is depth, while the fourth dimension is time, the fourth one being more from relativistic physics, as Einstein had proved that time is not linear and can be manipulated as well.
You can actually observe all these four dimensions in action whenever you want, wherever you want in a very easy manner. The first three dimensions can be observed simply by looking at an object or measuring it to be precise about the amount of height, width, and depth it sports. The fourth dimension can also easily be observed if an object moves in front of our eyes. A
Though time itself cannot be viewed or be perceived, the distance that an object covers in a certain amount of time gives us an idea about this dimension as well. So that brings us to one dimension left: the fifth dimension. The explanation of how the four dimensions can be observed is due in part to how that is not exactly something that can be done with the fifth one.
The fifth dimension is actually known as a mystic dimension due to the fact that it cannot be observed in a physical or tangible or direct manner. The fifth dimension is where it is said that the forces of gravity and electromagnetism meet which is out of bounds of human sight, but it still exists. Scientists are working intensely on researching and finding out more about this fifth dimension (and further dimensions), as it unfolds secrets of how the universe is built.
There have been many theories on the specificity of the subject and a lot of them rejected as well. But one thing has remained constant, the idea that such a dimension does indeed exist. We just don’t know everything about it as yet, or more accurately, haven’t been able to prove anything about it yet.
So if we know that it exists but know little about it, how does spirituality fit in?
The Link Between The Fifth Dimension And Spirituality
So now that we have a better understanding of what exactly the fifth dimension is, you might be wondering that on the one hand we are talking about physics and on the other hand we’re talking on a more philosophical and mystical level, about spirituality. How can the two be interconnected? Isn’t science the opposite of faith and spirituality?
If you ignore the broadest distinctions between the two, you will find that spirituality can be a part of many different fields of life including, and even especially, physics. Due to the link that is believed to be between that of our spiritual actions and the physical aspects of our lives. Now, coming to very specifically the fifth dimension that is a part of the fabric of space and time, there is one very big common factor that it has with spirituality, which is that both are not physical and are subject to interpretation and perception.
As we talked about spirituality before that it is not anything constant, it is varying from person to person and it can also be said that each person that experiences spirituality can have a completely unique experience of it from the next person. That despite the belief that we are all connected, every person is a different spiritual being, a different instrument that God and the universe are expressing themselves through.
The theory that exists that supports the idea that the fifth dimension can have spiritual aspects and spiritual roles playing in it have these reasons as the basis of this theory apart from some others as well. It is quite ironic how the common tie between the fifth dimension and spirituality is a lack of physical and direct awareness among humankind of the two. We have many theories that support the existence of both these ideas, but none that are concrete enough so that they cannot be challenged or questioned, at least in the current times.
This philosophy is also borrowed from the concept that the human interpretation of reality is a separate element and reality itself is a separate element in itself, the concept of ‘there’s no such thing as truth‘. This concept is supported by evidence such as something as simple as drugs. When we take different drugs, they have different kinds of effects that alter the consciousness of the individual that takes it, which in turn will alter the perception of their reality. So if life is not only chemistry of the mind, what is it?
Another example, which is simpler, is that of human emotions. Humans cannot possibly separate their emotions from their physical experiences, which is why their perception of reality will always be biased because it is always tainted by whatever emotion that they are experiencing at that time. For example, one person’s interpretation of reality can be viewed from the glasses tinted by the suffering that they have experienced through their lives, in comparison to another individual who’s had experienced the same life circumstances, but has differently tinted glasses with which they view a different world. So if life is not only circumstances, what is it?
Some would say that it’s not the circumstances that determine a person’s personality, rather than the spiritual element in the personality, and some would say that it is actually the other way around. So what is true, what is real, and what is not? And this is where spirituality comes in, stating that even if we can not yet explain or prove why something is true, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.
Throughout eastern and western lands, there is a theory with the foundation of cosmic optimism. The theories might be starkly different on the face of it but they all share one idea in common. That is that events in the world are not random and they are not coincidental. And these concepts have been actually acknowledged by mainstream science, by the Aharonov–Bohm effect, and the concept of synchronicity, which was first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung.
These events that happen are happening for a reason and are all connected in some way or the other to each other and if studied upon, some of these connections can be found out as well in a more detailed manner. Isn’t this exactly what spirituality includes in its definition? The fact that things are connected to each other is a concept that is essential to what spirituality entails. We can also note that every religion hints at the fact that there is a relationship between actions on one corner of the world that will play out in some unimaginable manner on the other end of the world.
So the fifth dimension is the plain and space where spiritual phenomena take place. It is the space and plain where the things that we can not yet explain through our 4th dimensional perception are manifesting. The dimension where the things that we can not yet explain are happening.
To Conclude
The concepts behind the fifth dimension of spirituality are absolutely fascinating. When trying to understand these concepts, one can embark on a very thought provoking, and even mind blowing, journey, as is the norm with most spiritual journeys. But the very crux of the fifth dimension spirituality revolves around something that is almost at the tips of our fingers but just out of reach, owing to how much there is left to human interpretation rather than factual evidence.

For further understanding on an even deeper level, we endorse the reading of John Hick’s book, called ‘The Fifth Dimension: An Exploration Of The Spiritual Realm‘ which casts an illuminating light on the same subject in a manner that is easy to understand, or the story of Eckhart Tolle, that can awaken you into a new awareness.
